We bought our home here in the Dordogne early in 2006, and moved permanently in 2009. We feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful and peaceful area. Our daughter Jess kat-napped Ricky Fitz - the loving boss of the household – while we were renovating. We still miss his little 3am presents of mice.
Having a neighbour pop in and look after your cat in your own home may seem like the best option. However, will your cat receive the attention they deserve especially if they do not happen to be around when the neighbour pops in to feed them. With you not around your cat may be in need of company and reassurance which your neighbour may not have the time to provide. That is why we have decided to set up our cattery – a place where there is always someone around. We also have caring and knowledgeable help so we rarely need to close – we know how important this is to our guests.
When designing and building our cattery we incorporated all of the things important to us as owners and to the happiness and well being of our cats. However as all owners and cats are different we also asked other cat owners what was important to them when choosing a cattery and incorporated these aspects into our design so that we could provide the “Purrfect” cattery.
We love cats.
We provide a purpose built, homely yet professional, dog-free cattery where we would be happy to leave our own cats and are sure that you will be too.
